{"id":257,"date":"2007-12-18T14:36:00","date_gmt":"2007-12-18T18:36:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/orbittrap.ca\/?p=257"},"modified":"2007-12-18T14:36:00","modified_gmt":"2007-12-18T18:36:00","slug":"i-feel-corporate-and-inspirational-too","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/orbittrap.ca\/?p=257","title":{"rendered":"I Feel Corporate and Inspirational Too!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>While doing some serious research on calendars recently, I stumbled on a <a href=\"http:\/\/creativ82.deviantart.com\/gallery\/\">gallery<\/a> where:<br \/>Big Black Frames<br \/>and <br \/>Short Inspirational Titles<br \/>In Glowing White Text<br \/>Separated by a White Line<br \/>With Snappy Quotation Subtitles Below<br \/>Were The House Specialty<\/p>\n<p>They looked nice.  In fact, this inspirational poster framing style looked very polished and professional, which is what I think, &#8220;Corporate&#8221; is suppose to mean.  I looked at lots of them until&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I got into the mood myself:<\/p>\n<p><center><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/ambaka.com\/blog\/17\/luminant01.png?w=545\"><\/center><\/p>\n<p>All good things come to an end, and what defines, &#8220;the end&#8221; better than a meaningless string of hitherto useful words?  I don&#8217;t know, after all that lofty stratospheric, inspirational stuff, my mind just started to crave senselessness again.  &#8220;Gibberish: <i>Words into Song<\/i>&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>That very same day (this is the truth) a friend of mine dropped off one of his business calendars in my mailbox.  And what do you suppose I saw?  Yes!<br \/>Big Black Frames<br \/>and <br \/>Short Inspirational Titles<br \/>In White Text<br \/>Separated by a White Line<br \/>Snappy Quotation Subtitles Below<br \/>Were The House Specialty<\/p>\n<p>Anyhow, I&#8217;m not saying it&#8217;s cliche and we should all get rid of the BigBlackFrameGlowingWhiteTitleAndQuotation style of presentation.  Come to think of it, it did inspire me to make this posting.<\/p>\n<p>I think the best background for artwork, especially digital artwork, is just plain black.  The shining text that results is just an elegant bonus.
