And especially THANK YOU to Christian Kleinhuis, our beloved administrator, a.k.a. the &#8220;priest of chaos&#8221; as he likes to call himself for fun on his great new Youtube video series.<\/p>\n<p>So, please support fractal art and the fractal community and go buy the calendar! Moreover, there are several DeviantArt members who took part in this year&#8217;s edition of the fractalforums.com calendar (last year, 2012, was the 1st edition), so check out this page at fractalforums.com to view the chosen images and pre-order you calendar by Paypal.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>That&#8217;s right.\u00a0 Mr Kleinhuis has been footing the entire bill for Fractalforums.com.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t know what the costs are but I&#8217;m sure it&#8217;s dedicated hosting (not cheap, shared hosting) and probably runs about $60 to $80 a month.\u00a0 He&#8217;s got some advertising revenue but the majority of the costs probably come right out of his own pocket.<\/p>\n<p>Is $58 too much to ask?\u00a0 &#8220;Brother?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Taurus66 had this to say <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fractalforums.com\/discuss-fractal-forums\/calendar-lament\/\">in a thread<\/a> on Fractalforums.com (FFs):<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Sorry for the directness guys, but someone needs to say that.
