are simplified in their rendering, I find they have more style and aesthetic stuff to them.\u00a0 Often fractals have too much detail and coloring to them and the beauty of their shape and pattern is lost in a crowd of competing details.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2739\" style=\"width: 260px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2739\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2739\" title=\"imagea\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/orbittrap.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/imagea.jpg?resize=250%2C400\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"400\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-2739\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Original Tron (1982) when wireframe was cool and looked advanced<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Wireframe view has been utilized by graphics programs as a way to handle complex images but it&#8217;s another example of the primitive graphical style of stone age computing that I like.\u00a0 The movie Tron tries to capture that style which in some ways fits with the old, DOS computing age of text only, console mode computing.\u00a0 Tron jazzes it up a bit but the minimalistic style still remains.<\/p>\n<p>Minimalism.\u00a0 That&#8217;s something worth experimenting with.\u00a0 It&#8217;s an old trick really.\u00a0 Sometimes less is more.\u00a0 Or at least it&#8217;s more effective.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2735\" style=\"width: 460px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/File:Pycanum_rubens_%28adult%29,_night_trail,_gunung_mulu_national_park,_sarawak,_malaysia%29.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2735\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2735\" title=\"bug from wikipedia\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/orbittrap.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/bug-from-wikipedia.jpg?resize=450%2C600\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"600\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-2735\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">bug from Wikipedia<\/p><\/div>\n<p>This insect has strong design appeal because it balances shape and detail.\u00a0 Fractal rendering could benefit from that sort of thing.\u00a0 One way to do it is to render plain images and then fry them in photoshop filters <em>&#8211;the ultimate bug machine<\/em>.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2736\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2736\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2736\" title=\"bug\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/orbittrap.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/bug.png?resize=300%2C400\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"400\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-2736\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">bug<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gero Wortmann, hailing from Munich, Germany may not be as old as me but some of the stuff he makes I really like. ~ Click images to view full size on original website ~ They look fractal, but what does that really mean?\u00a0 His work really focuses on the basic shape and form of the &hellip;
